Psychotherapy Services in Utah

Samantha Knuth

CMHC
Clinical Mental Health Counselor

As a therapist specializing in complex trauma, my goal is to create a safe and compassionate space for you to explore your past experiences and their impact on your present. Complex trauma can leave deep wounds that affect every aspect of your life, but healing is possible. Together, we will work on a personalized plan that addresses your unique needs and goals. I believe in empowering you to take an active role in your healing journey and I will work with you to develop coping skills that can help you navigate life’s challenges.  I believe that healing requires a multi-faceted approach that incorporates evidence-based therapy modalities and holistic techniques that encompass the mind, body, and spirit. My goal in our work together is that you are heard, validated, and challenged to grow in a supportive and empowering way.  Together, we will work towards creating a fulfilling and meaningful life that is grounded in your innate strengths and inner wisdom.

With over 12 years of experience working with survivors of abuse and trauma as an advocate, therapist, and Director of Mental Health Services, I have gained a wealth of knowledge and expertise. Additionally, I have worked in an inpatient hospital setting for over five years, where I honed my skills in crisis work and working with a variety of mental health concerns.

When I am not working, I enjoy engaging in self-care activities such as spending time with family and friends, traveling, crafting, watching movies, going to concerts, and soaking up the sunshine.
