Brittany Shields

CSW
Certified Social Worker

Do you struggle with Anxiety, PTSD, and/or Depression that impacts your daily life? Do you feel emotionally drained, tired, distressed or find it difficult to maintain focus? We know it is not easy to take the initial steps into therapy; however, it shows strength, motivation for change, and compassion for self. I would love to collaborate with you to develop the skills necessary to work through stress, trauma, life obstacles, and changes. I have a passion for helping those with a variety of mental health conditions. I grew up in a military family, and I love working with military service members, veterans, and their families.

I offer evidence-based therapies proven to be effective for trauma, depression, and anxiety. For example, I use DBT, which teaches powerful coping skills, EMDR which helps reduce emotional upset linked to traumatic memories, CBT which can help you create healthy thinking patterns, and SFT, which helps you build on your strengths and past successes.

I will work with you to help build the necessary tools to reach your goals. Therapy is not easy, it takes hard work and dedication, but if you are willing to put in the work, I will be here to help guide you.
